CNA 1

Build the essential skills needed to provide quality patient care, including basic nursing procedures, proper body mechanics, and vital sign measurement. This course follows the standards and scope of practice established by the Wyoming State Board of Nursing, preparing students to take the state certification exam upon successful completion.

Tuition includes all required course materials, including the textbook. Prior to beginning clinical training, students must complete fingerprinting and a background check through a local law enforcement agency. Financial assistance and financing options may be available for those who qualify.

CNA 2 / MA-C

Take your healthcare career to the next level by expanding your skills beyond the basic nursing assistant role. This course is designed for Certified Nursing Assistants who want to increase their knowledge and responsibilities in patient care and medication administration.


Students will learn advanced nursing assistant skills, safe medication administration practices, medication documentation, infection control, patient safety, and observation and reporting techniques. The program follows the requirements and scope of practice established by the Wyoming State Board of Nursing and prepares eligible students for certification testing.


Graduates may find employment opportunities in long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, rehabilitation centers, hospitals, memory care units, and other healthcare settings where advanced nursing assistant and medication administration skills are needed.

Have CNA 1 license, unencumbered, for 1500 working hours with letter of verification from employer


Certified Medical Assistant

Prepare for a rewarding career as a Clinical Medical Assistant by gaining the skills needed to support healthcare providers in a variety of medical settings. This comprehensive program covers patient preparation for examinations and treatments, laboratory procedures, diagnostic testing, phlebotomy, pharmacology, medication administration, vital signs, EKG lead placement, and an understanding of the cardiac life cycle.

Students will also develop knowledge of professional workplace behavior, medical ethics, and healthcare laws and regulations. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be prepared to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Clinical Medical Assistant certification exam, which is included in the tuition.

Clinical Medical Assistants are in demand and may find employment in physicians' offices, family practice clinics, specialty clinics, urgent care centers, hospitals, outpatient care centers, public health agencies, and other healthcare facilities. Clinical hours are included, to assist with job placement.
